PowerPoint to PDF

Convert .pptx slide text into a clean PDF document
Free · Private · Runs entirely in your browser

Convert PowerPoint to PDF Free

Upload your .pptx file and download a PDF with each slide as one page. Preserves layout, fonts, and images. Local processing — your presentation content stays private.

PowerPoint to PDF conversion captures every slide at full fidelity — fonts, images, backgrounds, and text positioning are preserved exactly. The output is a fixed-layout PDF where each page represents one slide, ideal for sharing presentations with people who do not have PowerPoint installed, for printing handouts, or for archiving in a format that cannot be accidentally modified. Animations and embedded video are not included in the PDF since the format does not support them, but all static visual content is preserved.

Before You Convert: Preparation Tips

Check slide dimensions. Verify your slides are in the intended aspect ratio (16:9 for widescreen, 4:3 for standard) before converting. The PDF will use whatever dimensions the .pptx specifies.

Review speaker notes separately. Speaker notes are not included in the standard PDF output. If you need notes included, export a "Notes Pages" layout from PowerPoint before uploading.

Embed fonts. Custom or branded fonts need to be embedded in the .pptx file to render correctly in the PDF. In PowerPoint: File → Options → Save → check "Embed fonts in the file".

High-resolution images. Images inserted at screen resolution (72 DPI) will look correct on screen but may appear soft when the PDF is printed. Use 150 DPI or higher images for presentations intended for print.

Why Convert PowerPoint to PDF?

Universal sharing. Not everyone has PowerPoint. A PDF opens on any device — phone, tablet, browser — without software requirements.

Preventing accidental changes. Sharing a PDF prevents recipients from editing, reordering, or inadvertently modifying your slides.

Consistent fonts. PDF embeds fonts so the presentation looks identical on every device, even if the recipient does not have the same fonts installed.

Conference and event submission. Many conferences, trade shows, and events require presentations submitted as PDFs rather than .pptx files.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will slide animations be in the PDF?

No. PDF is a static format and cannot store animations or transitions. Each slide appears in its final state — all elements visible as they would appear after all animations have completed.

Is my presentation uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your .pptx file is never transmitted anywhere. This is important for confidential presentations containing unreleased products, financial data, or client information.

Can I convert a presentation with embedded videos?

Yes. Embedded videos are converted as still images in the PDF — the frame visible in the PowerPoint slide is captured. The video itself does not play in the PDF.

Does it work with Google Slides files?

The tool accepts .pptx files. Export your Google Slides presentation as .pptx first (File → Download → Microsoft PowerPoint), then upload here for conversion.
